有些時候，某一張專輯會完美契合當時的心情，於是，我會彷彿上癮似的狂聽，然後，每次一遇到類似的場景或心情，那熟悉的音符便會自動在心中浮現。
Final Straw便是這樣的一張專輯。出現在我大學畢業前那一段徬徨失落、亂七八糟的生活狀態中。值班大樓的頂樓上，夜班公車的燈光、空氣污染的晚風、與Snow Patrol那有點熱血的帶電民謠變成了我支撐下去的力量來源。
全片洋溢的輕鬆愉快的氣氛，豐富飽滿的節奏、流暢易懂的旋律與主唱帶點沙啞的嗓音，直接簡單卻相當悅耳的Folk，就像有陣和煦的春風迎面吹拂而來，給人溫暖實在的感覺。而聰明慧詰、活潑靈動的配樂更是讓這張專輯百聽不厭。

而會買到這張專輯，就不能不提裡面的第七首歌，還記得那時候心情很亂，晃啊晃的來到的站前五大唱片行(沒開多久就倒了)，一段似曾相似的吉他和弦把我整個人釘在哪裡，無法動彈，站著那呆呆地聽完了整首歌，整整5分54秒內，我忘記了心跳的頻率，然後掏出錢、結帳。我又一次和Snow Patrol相遇。
相當貼近生活的一張Indie-pop，歡樂的讓人不由得會心一笑，想起那單純美好的甜蜜時光；卻也會憂鬱哀愁的讓人心有戚戚而潸然落淚，於是苦悶成為歌聲中揮之不去的味道，隨著呼吸流盪在空氣中。
