這傢伙一定跟我一樣，有某種程度的數字偏執狂，因著某種程度的堅持，我總認為數字是成對的。
上面那段文字，跟這張專輯一點關係都沒有就是了。
今天睡到近中午，補足了一週來的睡眠不足，在一家小吃店吃過鹹的難以下嚥中餐，這張專輯陪我在lab整整加班了一整個下午，Damien Rice這次略顯Over的慘情歌聲，在安靜的醫院走道上，【Elephant】顯得如此的痛徹心扉，而【Rootless tree】更是幫我唱出了這陣子心中一直偷偷罵人的話，哈。
跟上一張脆弱細膩的歌聲比起來，這張專輯顯得力量十足，不管是心痛、憤怒、躁鬱還是舒緩、愉悅都更直接，而空心吉他的部份也更加搶耳，貫穿著整張專輯的旋律。
上一張專輯中催淚的的提琴聲明鮮少了很多，也讓這張專輯感覺少了一點味道，民謠味重了點，而少了【0】裡面那種力不從心的殘舊破敗異樣美感。
不過這樣的調性正適合這樣的季節、這樣的溫度、這樣的地點與我此刻的心情來聆聽。

如果可以，我希望永遠能像他的歌聲一樣，真誠清醒的面對自己。
